In a small but meaningful gathering, the General Manager and employees of Thracean Mining bid farewell to the company’s former Communications Lead, Thanasis Tsolakis.
Thanasis Tsolakis departed from Thracean Mining leaving behind a very positive mark, having actively participated in the re-establishment of the company since October 2025. At this stage, he decided to pursue active journalism, taking on an executive position within a media organization in Alexandroupolis.
Mr. Bakouras thanked Thanasis Tsolakis for his contribution to the company, presenting him with an honorary plaque. In his remarks, he noted:
“Thanasis, thank you for your contribution to the company and the project, for the paths you opened in Thrace, and for the collaborations we built with the region’s media outlets and beyond.”
expressing his appreciation for his work and contribution.
The departing associate of Thracean Mining also expressed his gratitude to Mr. Bakouras — and through him to Eldorado Gold — as well as to his colleagues for their cooperation, emphasizing:
“Thank you very much for the collaboration throughout this entire period. Thank you for everything I learned while working at Thracean Mining and Eldorado. I remain a steadfast supporter of the Perama Project, recognizing both the need for its implementation and its contribution to the development of my homeland.”
